1. Who We Are
TradeLink ("we", "our", "us") provides a desktop application that copies trading signals from Telegram to MetaTrader and cryptocurrency exchanges. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our software and website.
2. What We Collect
2.1 Desktop Application
TradeLink runs entirely on your computer. We do not operate servers that process your trading data. Specifically:
- Telegram credentials (api_id, api_hash, session) are stored locally in your system keyring (Windows Credential Manager or macOS Keychain). We never receive or store them.
- Exchange API keys (ByBit, Bitget) are stored locally in your system keyring. We never receive or store them.
- Trading signals and history are stored in a local SQLite database on your computer. We never receive or store them.
- Application settings (language, lot size, channel preferences) are stored in a local JSON file on your computer.
2.2 License Verification
When the application checks your license status, it sends a device identifier (a hash derived from your hardware) to our licensing server. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally. We store:
- Device identifier (hardware hash)
- License key status (active, trial, expired)
- Application version and operating system
- IP address (for rate limiting, not stored long-term)
2.3 Website
Our website uses standard web server logs which may include your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use Vercel for hosting, which may collect basic analytics. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
3. How We Use Information
- License verification and trial management
- Delivering software updates and version notifications
- Responding to support requests
- Improving the application based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns
4. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not collect, transmit, or store your Telegram messages
- We do not have access to your exchange accounts or funds
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties
- We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels
- We do not process your trading signals on our servers
5. Data Security
All sensitive data (API keys, session tokens, license tokens) is encrypted using AES-256-GCM and stored in your operating system's secure keyring. Network communications between the application and our licensing server use HTTPS with TLS 1.3.
6. Data Retention
- Local data: Retained until you delete it or uninstall the application.
- License records: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days.
- Trial records: Device identifiers retained for 1 year to prevent trial abuse.
- Server logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data (request a copy of what we store)
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Children
TradeLink is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Trading involves financial risk and is restricted to adults.
9. International Transfers
Our licensing server is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Data may be processed in any country where Cloudflare operates. All transfers are protected by HTTPS encryption.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
